Spiced Peach Cobbler
This Spiced Peach Cobbler stands apart from other peach cobblers because of its perfectly spiced peach filling. Nutmeg and cinnamon bring out the sweet, fruity flavors of the fresh peaches. The homemade biscuit topping is ideally crumbly and buttery. Before you put it in the oven, sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the top of your cobbler to give it a sweet, crunchy finishing touch. Cobbler always tastes heavenly when it is served with a side of ice cream. This Spiced Peach Cobbler goes especially well with cinnamon ice cream.

Do you ever add any lemon zest to the biscuit topping to give it some extra flavor, or do you let the peaches stay in the spotlight? I like to add some zest to my dishes just to brighten them up a little, but since the peaches are so delicate, the zest may be too much. I was thinking how well peaches, blueberries, and lemon might go together.
