Plum and Berry Galette
"This country style plum and berry galette is beautiful enough for entertaining, yet humble enough for simple Sunday family dinners. Put it together easily using store-bought butter puff pastry, plums and either fresh blueberries or saskatoon berries. Bake in a cast iron skillet for a delicious and flaky crust, and serve warm right at the table. Top with a bit of vanilla ice cream. It's summer-inspired pie without all the fuss or mess. So delicious!"

Do you prefer to use local honey in your desserts? I think it makes a huge difference to the flavor of a dish when you use the local ingredients that you can source. I love visiting the farmer's markets and finding fresh ingredients that I can use to make dessert for my family.
