Can I leave out the almonds in this recipe? If not, can I use some peanuts instead? I have a severe tree nut allergy in my home, so we can only use peanuts, sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds in our desserts. I think it will be okay without the almonds, but if the crunch is a big deal, some peanuts should work.
