Do you think this recipe will turn out with the right consistency if I choose to use a low or no-fat cream cheese? I love your idea of making brownies for the crust and using them to hold the pie together. I think the chopped pecans are the only thing that I cannot use for this dish because my daughter is severely allergic to them, but we could add some peanuts or salted sunflower seeds for a little crunch. I bet some chocolate chips might go nice as a garnish too.
