So, you can use vinegar or lemon to make meringue? I have never heard of that before now. What a handy substitution to know. Chocolate pie is one of my favorites. I can't wait to use your recipe and show my kids something I grew up eating instead of the store-bought chocolate pies they want me to buy.

Oh my word, chocolate pie has surely got to be the closest thing to heaven here on earth! It is so good that there was absolute silence around the table while we all just absorbed the sheer delicious of this recipe. The meringue topping is the perfect finishing touch and I would most definitely recommend that you make this. Your family will LOVE it!
