Lemon zest makes such a difference doesn't it? I think it brightens up the dish and makes it taste so much fresher. I love that you made lemon cream danishes because I always see cherry, but lemon is not a common danish flavor. I like being different and making new flavors and combinations. I think this will be a refreshing brunch idea for a girls day.
