Homemade Peanut Butter Goo Goo Clusters
If you love buckeye candies or peanut butter dessert recipes in general, you've got to try a few Homemade Peanut Butter Goo Goo Clusters. These candies are kind of like glorified Reese's Peanut Butter Cups because they not only have a textured peanut butter center that's surrounded by crunchy milk chocolate but there are also chunks of crunchy peanuts in every bite. These candies are surefire crowd-pleasers that take very little effort to make, not to mention the fact that you don't even need to turn on your oven to whip them up.

Do you use the butter flavored shortening or just the regular kind for this treat? I love chocolate and peanuts together. I remember walking to the little store near my house as a young kid and buying these little treats for a nickel. The lady that worked there would make them and sell them to the neighborhood kids and some of the regulars because we loved her home cooking and desserts.

These look amazing! I use a recipe that is almost identical to this one to make peanut butter balls for Christmas every year. I never though of trying it this way. flattening them to be more like a cookie and adding the roasted peanuts is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my-this Homemade Peanut Butter Goo Goo Clusters are going to be my go to candy. I make buckeye candy a few times a year because they are so go. This recipe uses the recipe for Buckeye candy for the base recipe so they have to be good. Right? Oh ye, if you like peanut butter you will love these. I'm looking forward to making these and see if they last or not.. Thank you so much for sharing this free recipe.
