You can make apple pie without baking it? I think that is just as crazy sounding as the cheddar cheese slice my grandpa put on his apple pie. Sometimes, he would use American, but Sharp Cheddar was our favorite because of the contrast in flavor. I have to say that the granola topping sounds absolutely mouthwatering.
