Banana Walnut Coffee Cake

"For me, banana bread was a staple growing up. My Mom always had a bunch of bananas on the counter ripening until they were well past a normal banana. But those are the best for baking! So this past week, I wondered what would happen if I merged my mom’s banana bread recipe with my coffee cake recipe. The result was this Banana Walnut Coffee Cake. And it was nothing short of amazing! My wife actually said this Banana Walnut Coffee Cake is the type of recipe that would make a bakery in the South famous!"

This Banana Walnut Coffee Cake is nothing short of WOW!!! I hosted our book club this week and every last crumb was devoured in a flash and there were even requests for the recipe which is always the greatest compliment! The children were very disappointed that none was left over for them so I had to promise to bake another one over the coming weekend.
