While they may have the word "wedding" in their recipe title, you don't need a special occasion as an excuse to whip up a batch of Chocolate Italian Wedding Cupcakes. This cupcake recipe is full of wonderful flavors, not including the chocolate cake itself. While Italian cupcakes usually have a cream cheese frosting on them, these cupcakes instead use a tangy sour cream frosting that goes really well with the cakes' rich chocolate flavor. One bite of these sweet treats and you'll be in love.

These Chocolate Italian Wedding Cupcakes look so absolutely lip smackingly delicious that I simply HAD to make them right away! All I can say is YUMMMMMY!!! They are every bit as divine tasting as they look and the topping is one of the best I have ever tasted. Thank you for this excellent recipe - I have already saved it to my Absolute Favorites folder!

Oh my, this recipe has my mouth watering! I so want to whip up a batch of these Chocolate Italian Wedding Cupcakes. Not for a wedding but to eat and share with my family! I do have a question though What are cocoa nibs, are they chocolate chips? I read the comments on the recipe page and someone else asked the question and there were no answers. I am going to make these using chocolate chips, hope they turn out. Love the recipe and a big thank you for sharing this free recipe.
