Sweet Lemon Drop Candies
As far as homemade candy recipes go, Sweet Lemon Drop Candies are definitely one of the best. These sweet hard candies have a wonderfully bright lemon flavor that is both sweet and sour at the same time. Because they're covered in sugar after they're formed, they skew more sweet than sour. While you will need a candy thermometer to make these candies, it's not a really difficult recipe to make. Pop just one of these babies into your mouth and you'll be hooked for life. They're that good.

This recipe is a favorite from my childhood. We used to get sour lemon heads and this treat is just like those. How many work stations do you make total when preparing this dish? I love this idea. I can't wait to make these candies. I know my kids will like a new treat instead of chocolate all the time.
