I must admit, my Christmas cookies are an homage to my Italian heritage with such delights as Ricotta cookies and Italian wedding cookies. I was thrilled to find this twist on Italian biscuit cookies to add to my collection. The cookies and glaze worked up perfectly, but I couldn't figure out how to make the holly. I improvised by piping small holly leaf shapes onto the cookie. It worked out fine, but if anyone knows how to make the leaves as shown, I would appreciate the help.
