Vanilla Buttercream Frosting Recipe
"This creamy, thick Vanilla Buttercream Frosting is both simple and delicious. Whether you are looking to decorate a cake, cookie, or anything else, you'll find this to be a perfect fit. Tips: - Use a stand mixer! It's faster and will create a creamier, thicker, and smoother buttercream. - Sift the powder sugar before adding it for a smoother, creamier buttercream. - Set the mixer to low when you begin adding the powdered sugar so it stays in the bowl and not on your counter. You can mix on high once incorporated. "

-
Whip again on high for 4-5 minutes or until the buttercream doubles in volume.
-

-
Substitution Options:You can make this buttercream with milk, heavy cream, half and half, or even coffee creamer. Any of these options will make a delicious buttercream, but the more fat in the liquid, the creamier the buttercream will be.
