While it's technically called a "pudding," this recipe has a sticky, dense texture that's like a cross between a bowl of pudding and the moistest cake you could ever imagine. The combination of brown sugar and finely chopped dates make each cake as flavorful as can be. Simply mix the ingredients together, pour them into mugs, and microwave until fluffy. Oh, your date pudding sounds so yummy! I like that you add syrup to the mix. What is your favorite brand to add to the recipe? What oil is your favorite to use? I like to use canola oil since it is so close to olive without the earthy flavor.
