What is sugar in the raw? Is it cane sugar? I love McDonald's cherry and apple pies. I can't wait to make your recipe so that I can see if it turns out like McDonald's. I think I will have to get some peanut oil like they use to fry them up to give the outside of the pie the right taste and crunch. They sound delicious.
