Vanilla sauce is the bomb, isn't it? My grandmother gave me a cook book when she died, and I lost it, but I remember the vanilla sauce. I used to make it a lot and would put it over pound or sponge cake. I used the sauce to put my own spin on family desserts. Do you do that with your vanilla sauce or other recipes?
