"Orange macaroon cake with dessicated coconut and orange liqueur. This is a glorious cake. Just the right moisture, orange flavour fantastic (no, can’t be less), and slightly chewy on account of the coconut. Someone I know describes cakes as ‘wet’ or ‘dry’. Wet cakes are good. Dry cakes are not so good. Yes - go figure... I like the definition of 'wet cakes' though as I patently detest the word 'moist' that is used so much these days."
