This is an amazing recipe. I will make it in mason jars and surprise my family. I love that there is actually hot chocolate in the cake. Won't this be delicious warm out of the oven? I'll make this when we get into the colder winter weather. I bet it smells wonderful when it's baking.

This looks delicious. It also looks wickedly rich. I think I might experiment with the pattern to cut it down a bit. Twelve of these at a time for us is a bit much, unless we are having a lot of company over that is. I was confused when I first read the recipe. This is the first time I have read a recipe that was written upside down.
