Slow Cooker Homemade Applesauce

"We are big applesauce people around my house. I buy the little snack sizes to send with my son for lunch or snack at school. My husband likes them as well for a snack. I like applesauce in plain Greek yogurt. Since we recently went apple picking, I decided to make my own and add a little pizazz to the batch. This recipe was a hit! I bought little food containers and my family loves this much more than the store bought ones. Try this very simple recipe using the handy-dandy slow cooker. The house smells so incredible while these are cooking. First we eat this hot right from the slow cooker then, after it’s refrigerated it’s so good. I just love it so much and when I put it into my yogurt, it’s like frozen yogurt, apple frozen yogurt! Make a batch today. You don’t have to go apple picking to make this. Pick up your favorite sweeter apples. I only added a drop of date sugar to this."
