Dina Crowell Hi! I’m Dina and I am the founder and editor of Buttercream Bakehouse. I created my blog in 2010 when I started a business selling custom decorated cakes, cupcakes and cookies. My business, Buttercream Custom Cakes and Gourmet Treats was a wonderful creative outlet for me. I enjoyed the art of sugar-craft, baking and flinging fondant in the kitchen. I loved my little business and the smiles on my customers faces as they picked up their order. Then, one day, my Husband gave me a really nice camera. I started taking pictures of each completed order to email to my customers. This soon became a passion (taking pictures of food, not emailing my customers) and soon I was sharing pictures and recipes on my blog to inspire others to bake and create in their own kitchens. From then on, there was no turning back.

In 2012, I decided to close Buttercream Custom Cakes and Gourmet Treats and begin to work full-time on Buttercream Bakehouse, the blog. It was the best business decision I ever made. I truly love to blog and watch it flourish into a business all the while inspiring my readers to be creative, learn about something new and get busy in the kitchen.
