Could you use brown sugar in this recipe instead of the granulated sugar? I was thinking it might add a much richer flavor to the cake. I know we always use the brown sugar when we make a coffee cake. My mom has a bunch of different recipes for these breakfast treats, but this one looks much easier than many of hers.
