Bring these yummy treats out for a new and different take on the classic backyard barbecue dessert. Make these cupcakes your watermelon ending to a great get together! My favorite candy has always been watermelon flavored anything, and I make a mean cupcake. It just made sense to whip up these delicious white cake cupcakes flavored with watermelon and topped with watermelon flavored buttercream frosting."

Ingredients
- 1 box White cake mix, plus ingredients called for on the box
- 1 cup Mini chocolate chips
- 1 package Watermelon Jell-O
- Red and yellow food coloring
- 1 cup Butter
- 3 cups Powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Whole milk
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- Green food coloring

For the Watermelon Cupcakes

Preheat oven and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.

Prepare batter according to package directions. Stir in jello mix. Stir in red food coloring. Stir in a little yellow food coloring until you reach your desired shade of pink.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Fill cupcake liners ~2/3 of the way full and bake according to package directions.
