Dulce de Apple Streusel Pie
Turn things around in the fall with this Dulce de Apple Streusel Pie. Instead of using fresh apples in its filling, this pie recipe calls for crushed apple cereal bars drizzled with dulce de leche. This decadent fall treat makes life a little easier during the holiday season, since you won't have to spend your time slicing and dicing apples in the kitchen. And you can have your apple pie and eat it too, since this fall dessert only takes under an hour to bake. Place this tasty apple pie in the oven while you prepare your Thanksgiving dinner table or watch TV on a cold day.

Do you cook your sweetened condensed milk down, or do you put it in the crock pot or microwave while it is in the can? If you do make it in the can, does it come out having any metallic taste. I want to try the technique, but I would rather talk to someone that has tried it already before I do.
