Do you have to use the brown sugar in this recipe, or can I use a sweetener to make it healthier? I love the recipe. We used to mix plain popcorn with the caramel and cheese versions to create something similar to this recipe during the holidays. This recipe takes me down memory lane.

I am so happy I found this recipe! I live just far enough away from Chicago, so I can't buy Garrett's popcorn whenever I want. But now I have a solution I can make my own!
