Would it be wrong if I chose the Double Stuff Oreos, and reserved some of the cookie crumbs for the top of the pie when it was done? I think that this recipe sounds so rich and sweet. I am a huge fan of chocolate, so this will not sit around in my refrigerator for long.

This looks soo good. I need to try this out. Chocolate cream pies are my fave since they combine two of my fave things-- chocolate and heavy handedness with whipped cream. I can't wait!

How about offering alternatives to food processors for recipes like this? Very disappointed I can' even try it because I don't own a food processor.

Hi Runeshadow, This recipe actually does offer an alternative to using a food processor! Instead of using it, simply place cookies in large zipper-lock plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin. It's a little more time-consuming, but it does the job. Hope this helps!
