Delicious Sugar Cookie Bars With Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Corn Starch
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup Cream Cheese
- 2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 tablespoon Heavy Cream
- 1 drop Pink Gel Food Coloring

In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.

Add the egg and vanilla to the sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.

Add the dry ingredients and mix well.

Fold a piece of parchment paper to fit inside your 8*8 pan (this helps with easy removal later)

Next, press the cookie dough into the pan making sure it’s spread evenly.

Bake for 20-25 mins.

Allow the cookie to cool completely before icing.

In a medium bowl cream together the cream cheese and butter.

Next add the powdered sugar, vanilla, heavy cream, and food coloring.

Beat with stand or hand mixer until fluffy.

Spread your frosting over the cookie and top with sprinkles.

Lift the parchment paper out of the pan.

Slice into bars, serve, and enjoy!
