This cake is a busy baker's dream come true. Anytime is a good time for chocolate cake, but sometimes you simply aren't in the mood to spend hours preparing a cake from scratch, and box cake mixes just can't compare. This Shortcut Chocolate Cake allows you to have your cake and eat it too. This cake is super quick to make, but it tastes just as delicious as other more time-consuming cakes. You only have to use one pan for mixing and baking, so you won't have many dishes to clean up afterward. Dust it with powdered sugar and you won't even have to spend time frosting it.

Well, to be absolutely honest, this recipe had me at the word Shortcut! Then it also said Chocolate so I was well and truly hooked, lol! We had ours for dessert with a dollop of icecream and it was a huge hit. The man of the house was looking extremely impressed even though the recipe does not include his favorite garlic and chili, lol!
