You could swap out semi-sweet chocolate chips if you really wanted to, and top it with regular cream cheese frosting if you prefer. "

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 3 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, grease or spray the foil.

  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.
