- 1 tablespoon grapefruit juice
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Store-bought Pie Crust dough
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 1 cup sweet wine

Peel, core, and slice the apples into chunks.

Sprinkle the sliced apples with grapefruit juice.

Combine sugar, flour, and spices in a bowl.

Add the flour mixture to the apple slices.

Use your hands to distribute the flour through the apples so they are well coated.

Stir in sweet wine and vanilla extract to coat all the apples.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Meanwhile: Gently place the pie crust dough into a 9-inch pie plate.
