Strawberry Glazed Donut Recipe
"My local donut shop is a frequent stop of mine, but I love making my own baked donuts like the caramel deLite donuts or super popular thin mint donuts at home too. And when strawberries are in season, this strawberry donut recipe is on repeat in my kitchen! The donut base is so fluffy and light. Adding the strawberries just makes it even more moist and flavorful! They’re great on their own, but the cream cheese glaze takes this donut to a 10/10."

To make this strawberry glazed donut recipe, start by preheating your oven to 425 degrees and spraying your donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
-
Next, add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
-
Whisk together until the ingredients are completely combined.
-
Add the berries, milk, egg, and melted butter into the dry ingredients and use a rubber spatula to fold the ingredients together until mixed.
-
Add the batter to a freezer bag and cut the tip around 1 inch from the corner.
-
Use the bag to pipe the batter evenly into the prepared donut pans.
-
Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for about 8-9 minutes or until they begin to turn golden brown.
-
Remove the donuts from the pan and let them fully cool before adding glaze.
-
To make your glaze, mix the cream cheese and melted butter until smooth and creamy.
-
Add the pureed berries, salt, and powdered sugar.
-
Mix until combined and spread over your cooled donuts.
