Ingredients
- 4 cup peeled and sliced tart apples (such as Granny Smith), about 5 apples
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup buter, cut into cubes

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Grease 9 inch pie plate with 1 tablespoon butter.

Add prepared apples to pie plate.

Sprinkle orange juice over apples.

In small bowl, mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg with a fork.

Cut in butter, using pastry blender, fork or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
